ASTM A335 P1 ALLOY STEEL SEAMLESS PIPES
The Steel Exporter manufactures ASTM A335 P1 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes that cannot be used in hydrochloric acid due to the risk of corrosion localized and uniform. In wells with high brine levels or where brine has been injected to enhance recovery, these Alloy Steel P1 Seamless Pipes are especially useful. Alloy Steel P1 Welded Pipes are not recommended for applications requiring long exposure to temperatures exceeding 570 Degree F due to the increased risk of toughness loss. Alloy Steel P1 EFW Pipes perform better in dilute sulphuric acid contaminated with chloride ions than other alloys, which is a highly alloyed austenitic steel grade specifically designed to resist pure sulphuric acid corrosion.
In addition, our Alloy Steel P1 ERW Pipes have excellent localized pitting resistance when used in diluted hydrochloric acid. It is not necessary to avoid crevices in the zone below the borderline of these Alloy Steel P1 Round Pipes to prevent pitting. The addition of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen to our Alloy Steel P1 Square Pipes improves localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice attack. The Alloy Steel P1 Rectangular Pipes should be solution annealed at a temperature range of 1025 to 1125 degrees Celsius, then quenched in water or rapidly cooled.
