?

4x4 Beach Access Locations and Regulations:

?

In Corolla and Carova, 4WD vehicles can access the beach at several ramps, including the Corolla Beach Access Ramp and various access points in Carova. These areas require a Currituck County Beach Parking Permit that is included in your Jeep rental.

?

Corolla, Carova, and Currituck beaches welcome dogs year-round, but they must be leashed at all times. The Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Historic Corolla Park are also pet-friendly, providing excellent opportunities for you and your furry friend to explore.

Enjoy a variety of dining options in Corolla, including pet-friendly outdoor seating at eateries like Sundogs Raw Bar & Grill, La Dolce Vita, and Cosmo's Pizzeria.

?

Surf Fishing: The Northern Outer Banks offers great surf fishing opportunities, with species such as red drum, flounder, bluefish, and sea mullet commonly caught. Make sure you have a valid North Carolina coastal recreational fishing license before casting your line.

?

Duck and Southern Shores do not have designated 4x4 beach access points, and beach driving is not allowed in those towns.
